Student guide: install ScoreCoach on your home screen — no App Store needed
Two steps to add dseai.hk to your phone's home screen: full-screen launch, instant loading, plus push notifications for finished marking and due reviews.
ScoreCoach doesn't need an app store download — add the website to your home screen and it behaves like an app: an icon on your desktop, full-screen with no address bar, near-instant repeat launches.
iPhone / iPad (Safari)
- Open dseai.hk in Safari and log in;
- Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow) at the bottom;
- Scroll to "Add to Home Screen" and tap Add.
The ScoreCoach icon appears on your home screen — use it from now on.
On iOS 16.4+, opening from the home-screen icon unlocks "Turn on reminders" on your home page — you'll get push notifications when marking finishes or mistakes are due for review, so you never have to remember to check back.
Android (Chrome)
After logging in, an "Install" prompt appears — tap it. If you miss it, use Chrome's menu → "Add to Home screen".
Huawei / HarmonyOS
Use the built-in browser's menu → "Add to desktop". Full-screen, fast launch and the bottom navigation all work (push notifications aren't supported by the system).
What it looks like installed
Five thumb-reach tabs at the bottom: Overview, Practice, Mock exams, Mistakes, Progress. During questions and exams the navigation hides automatically.

FAQ
Does it cost anything? No — same account, same data as the website.
Does it eat storage? Only a few MB of interface cache, unlike typical apps.
Do I need to update it? Never — every launch is automatically the latest version.
Once installed, complete your first AI marking with the three-minute starter guide.
