Student guide: your first AI-marked question in three minutes

Welcome! This guide covers one thing only: getting from your teacher's invite code to your first answer marked step by step — in about three minutes.

Step 1: Join your class

Your teacher will send an invite link (or a 6-character code). Open it on your phone, sign up with email or Google, and you'll be added to the class automatically.

After logging in you'll see your home: streak, pending assignments, and a "next up" recommendation targeted at your weak topics.

Step 2: Start practising

Tap Practice in the bottom bar. The system prioritises questions you haven't tried yet in your weakest topics — it's not random drilling.

• Multiple choice: tap an option, instant feedback;
• Long questions: write your full working on paper, ready to photograph.

Stuck on a long question? Tap "I'm stuck" — the AI gives you a nudge in the right direction (never the answer), up to three levels of hints, free.

Step 3: Photograph it, let AI mark it

Tap "Photo for AI marking" and snap your handwritten working. A preview appears first: if the writing is clear, submit; if it's blurry, retake — retakes are free.

Results arrive in about a minute: each marking point (M marks / A marks) shows where you earned and lost marks, with the model answer attached. Tap AI explain on anything unclear — you can ask follow-up questions too.

What happens next

• Wrong answers are collected into your Mistakes book, organised by topic;
• The system schedules reviews on a forgetting curve and reminds you;
• Your Progress page tracks mastery per topic and shows a predicted grade.
