The predicted grade: why it's a range

"Predicted ≈ 4 (likely 3–5)" means: based on recent performance, 4 is most likely, but performance naturally fluctuates, so we show a probability range — more honest than a single number. The small bars underneath show each grade's probability. If your child has set a target grade, the gap to target is shown too.

Mastery, milestones and effort

• Overall mastery: a weighted average across topics, updated with every marking;
• Milestones 🎉: praiseworthy progress in the last 30 days (mastery gains, mistakes conquered, practice streaks) — when you see one, tell your child in person. That's what it's for;
• Effort (30 days): questions practised and active days — measured, never estimated.
