Teacher guide: set up classes and three ways to add students

The first step in ScoreCoach isn't uploading questions — it's setting up your classes. Assignments, marking and reports are all organised by class.

Create a class

Workspace → Classes → New class (top right). You can assign an owning teacher: that teacher then sees only their own classes, and their reports aggregate only those students.

Three ways to add students

1. Invite link (recommended) Tap "Invite to class" on the class card and drop the link into your class group chat. Students sign up and land in the class automatically. Self-joined students carry a "to match" tag — see merging below.

2. Email invites Each roster row has "Invite to register" — send a sign-up link to one student's email. Good for stragglers.

3. Manual entry (no invite needed) Tap "Add student" and enter name + student ID. A student who hasn't registered doesn't block you: scanned-paper marking attaches to this roster entry, and links up when they register later.

"To match" and merging

If you entered "Chan Tai Man" manually and he later joins via the link, the roster shows two rows. Tap "Merge" on the to-match row and pick the manual entry — account, attempts and share link combine with nothing lost.

The parent share link

Every student row has "Share link": a no-login parent report page you can send directly — parents never need to register. Links stay valid until you regenerate them (the refresh icon), which instantly invalidates the old one.
